Who the F*CK is alice?

Alice Rose Barber is a greedy multi-hyphenate: producer, writer, dramaturg and the Founder of Alice Rose Entertainment.
With a keen commercial eye, in 2025 Alice became a Stage One Bursary Recipient. She co-produced and dramaturged Edinburgh Fringe smash-hit ‘The Uncrackable Case’, which will tour nationally, and has two large-scale commercial projects in development.
Having trained with Slung Low, Alice has worked in the subsidised sector for the past decade. She spent 7 years with Red Ladder Theatre Company, as well as co-running Front Room Productions from 2017-2021. She developed impeccable management skills as well as an artist-led practice across national touring, site-specific, family work, audio and digital. She has produced numerous shows for the award-winning Silent Uproar, work for internationally renowned storyteller Debs Newbold, and writing by BAFTA-nominated Lisa Holdsworth - to name a few.
Whether as producer or writer, Alice makes work that is simultaneously anarchic and meaningful - from gut-wrenching drama to glittering musical theatre.
